A family of components developed by Intel® that combine to elevate
the standards in mobile notebook performance and capability. Intel
Centrino™ delivers unprecedented CPU performance, battery standby
times, low heat generation, ultralight and thin chassis and built-in
wireless networking. Therefore, it not only delivers raw computing
power but also addresses ergonomic issues that modern day users tend
to consider as mobile computing and IT product use becomes a bigger

The Intel Pentium®-M processor is the core of Centrino
Technology, it's improved instruction set (over standard Pentium 4
CPUs) and massive cache of 2mb provides unprecedented processing power
to the Metabox 325 Performance tests have shown, despite the lower
gigahertz rating, the Pentium-M surpases desktop based CPUs in a mobile
computing solution with the added benefits of reduced heat generation
and the requirement of small heatsinks and fans - improving battery

order to achieve lightness, conserve battery life and minimize heat
generation the Metabox 325 uses the low power
consumption Intel Extreme Graphics 2 integrated graphics processor
to meet today's demand for a more realistic digital experience and
complex graphics environments. Intel® Extreme
Graphics 2 is the next generation of Intel’s revolutionary
integrated graphics core that delivers intense, realistic 3D graphics
with sharp images, fast rendering, smooth motion, and incredible
detail for more enjoyable 3D and high resolution video playback
experience.
Despite the fact that part of the Metabox 325's system main memory
is being shared towards the resource requirements of the Intel®
Extreme
Graphics 2 processor, it's unique architecture, through innovative
engineering, balances memory usage between graphics and other system
functions. The result is more realistic visual quality for graphics—without
sacrificing the system performance needed for such tasks as video
editing and music recording.
Intel Extreme Graphics 2 supports the latest 2D and 3D APIs, including
the popular engineering standard OpenGL1.3, delivering
real-life environment and character effects. A 256-bit internal
path enables up to four textures per pixel on a single pass for
super light maps, atmospheric effects, and more realistic surface
details.
Flexible display capabilities enhance the personal computing experience,
offering significant benefits for applications requiring 32-bpp
and higher display resolutions.

burn anything from CD data to DVD movies at factory output speeds.
Choose from a 24x16x16x CD-RW/8xDVD-ROM combo for CD Authoring and
DVD playback, a 2xDVD-R/W which adds DVD Movie burning capabilities
and the ultimate 4xDVD+/-R/W to do anything under the sun at the fastest
